Food 2.0

Sustainable Food Futures – Young people’s views from Rio and London project aims to promote an understanding of the possibility of production of healthier yet affordable food based on the exchange of experiences inside the communities. The project is carried out under the Newton Fund RC UK and Faperj and has partnerships with two other units of UFRJ: the Faculty of Management and Accounting Sciences and the Nutrition Institute Josué de Castro. Participatory workshops were conducted in both Rio de Janeiro and London peripheries and films were produced as a final result, entirely made by young people participating in the projects. Researchers and film artists analyzed the productions and elected a winning film for each city.
